SUBMISSIONS
The theme for Issue #2 is Masculine. Deadline is February 22, 2012.
A complete ready-to-publish shoot will need to be submitted every time and shoots that have been previously published (print or online) will not be accepted. The imagery must be exclusive to Homme Style. The magazine will not be held responsible for the loss or damage of any clothing/accessories used to create a submission. Stylists must be clear that they are pulling samples for submissions as they can often be confused for approved commission, which they are not.
Other submission guidelines:
-Looking to feature both new and established talents
-Models are carefully selected in regards to the photographers
-Pull letters for stylists are provided if needed
-Work through agencies is permitted
-Always ask for a model package from the agencies as we would love to be a part of the casting process
-We reserve the right not to publish your work if the quality or style of the images is not right for our magazine, poor posing/boring images, styling isn’t up to standards and so on
All submissions are welcome so we encourage you to email us with any ideas you have as well as links to your current portfolio/website. We are eager to work with new and regular contributors, whether they are established or young talent.

This will benefit both us and you in finding your details and staying organized.
SUBMITTING FINAL WORK: DELIVERY SPECIFICATION CRITERIA:
-Packaged high resolution images must be sent in one package that includes the credits
*Please do not send 10-30 links and credits in another email
-The following file sharing websites will be accepted: yousendit.com, wetransfer.com, dropbox.com, megaupload.com or similar
-If file sharing websites are used, ensure you capture the delivery link and email it to hommestyle@live.ca
IMAGE SPECIFICATION CRITERA:
-To ensure the best print output, black text should be 100% K (CMYK = 0, 0, 0, 100). Images placed in the document can be left in their original colorspace (sRGB, AdobeRGB, etc). All text and vector elements should be CMYK, and no spot colors should be used in the file.
-Resolution of a minimum of 300 pixels per inch
-Full images must be 2550 pixels by 3300 pixels
-Single page images must be 8.5” x 11” (216 x 279 mm)
Pictures and images must be sent:
- Without borders
- Without graphics (unless previously discussed and agreed)
- Without credits (on the images)
*We will only accept the final and retouched images (“clean images”)
MAGAZINE COPIES
-Free copies aren’t available due to the fact that we are an independent magazine
-PDF files can be provided for portfolios
